Multi-dimensional wavefront measurement system for the microwave imaging reflectometer on EAST tokamak

  • A multi-dimensional wavefront measurement system based on an interferometer technique has been developed to address the critical issue of wavefront verification for microwave imaging reflectometer (MIR) diagnostics. The spatial resolution is 0.2 mm and the accuracy of phase measurement is 0.02 rad. These measured results for EAST MIR illumination optics are quantitatively consistent with the optical simulation results. It has also been proved that the Rogers plate used as a beam splitter in the MIR has a negligible impact on wavefront morphology.
