Abstract
A computational program for determining the electron density profile based on free-boundary equilibrium reconstruction has been developed on Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak (EAST). The program integrates the Park matrix inversion technique with equilibrium iteration algorithms, where the equilibrium calculation is further constrained using measurements from the POlarimeter-INTerferometer (POINT) system. This establishes the computational results of this method on a foundation of more accurate equilibrium calculations. Experimental validation shows that the results achieved with this method are more accurate than those obtained using the Park matrix inversion alone.
