Laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy technology moving towards industrial applications

The basics physical mechanics of laser plasma are studied thoroughly and various measurements methods have been developed. With gradually improving of the methods and instrumentations in LIBS, the technology would be step out the laboratory eventually. With the help of machine learning, LIBS plays more and more important role in complex industrial application including high accuracy quantitative analysis, robustness, and long-term stability under complex industrial scenarios. Now, LIBS is meeting the core needs of various fields, which could evolve from a “future superstar” of analytical chemistry into a “real superstar” with help of AI technology in the near future.
