小尺度漂移阿尔芬模驱动的带状流
Zonal Flows Driven by Small-Scale Drift-Alfven Modes

摘要: 本文采用包含了电子极化漂移的参量不稳定性方法, 对小尺度漂移阿尔芬模驱动带状流做了一些研究。过去的研究结果认为, 只有沿离子逆磁漂移方向传播的主模可以驱动起带状不稳定性。而我们的研究结果表明, 沿电子和离子逆磁漂移方向传播的主模都可以驱动起带状模。一般来说, 本文给出的带状模的增长率跟先前的研究结果在一个量级上。然而, 与过去结果所不同的是, 增长率不再正比于电子离子的逆磁漂移频率差。Abstract: Generation of zonal flows by small-scale drift-Alfven modes is investigated by adopting the approach of parametric instability with the electron polarization drift included. The zonal mode can be excited by primary modes propagating at both electron and ion diamagnetic drift directions in contrast to the assertion in previous study that only primary modes propagating in the ion diamagnetic drift directions can drive zonal instabilities. Generally, the growth rate of the driven zonal mode is in the same order as that in previous study. However, different from the previous work, the growth rate is no longer proportional to the difference between the diamagnetic drift frequencies of electrons and ions.
